• Beautiful sales funnels that convert your visitors into leads and then into customers.
• And you can do all of that without having to hire or rely on a tech team.

I’ve been using this sales funnel builder since 2015 and for very good reason too.

ClickFunnels is one of the best sales funnel builders around.

ClickFunnels Landing Pages And Sales Funnels

Once you go to create your sales funnel, ClickFunnels will offer you a few options to start.

This is beneficial because it walks you through the process of getting started.

Cliff Notes: It’s a step-by-step process that’s very easy to complete.

If you look at the screenshot above, you’ll see that there are three main goals which include:

1. Collecting emails.
2. Selling your products.
3. Hosting your webinars.

Helpful Note: I’ll have a complete section about creating webinars with ClickFunnels.

For the sake of making this illustration better, I’m going to choose: Sell Your Product.

Upon choosing that goal, another screen will show that has a few more options to choose from.

You can see what I mean by having a look at the screenshot that I added down below:

This is the section where you get to choose the type of your sales funnel.

In case you’re on a mobile device and the screenshot is harder to read, the three types are:

• Sales funnel.
• Product launch.
• Membership site.

Yes, ClickFunnels works perfectly for product launches and you can also create memberships.

Helpful Note: I’ll also have a section that is dedicated to ClickFunnels and membership sites.

For this scenario, I’m also going to be choosing: Sales Funnel.

Upon doing that, you create a name for your sales funnel and then get taken to the next page.

As always, I’ll add a screenshot down below so that you can continue to follow along:

So I’m going to be referencing the screenshot above to talk about the walkthrough.

First and foremost, all of the steps of your sales funnel will be on the left side of the screen.

Helpful Note: These are going to be your ClickFunnels landing pages.

For this particular sales funnel, the landing pages that come with it happen to include:

• A squeeze page (also known as a lead generation page).
• A sales page (also known as a sales letter)
• Order from (or checkout page).
• Order confirmation page.
• Thank you page.

You can always add, delete, and move around the order of your landing pages as well.

Plus, ClickFunnels comes with a ton of templates for all of the pages that you need to create.

Here is a great (and simple) ClickFunnels lead generation template that I happen to really like:

This specific template has all of the important things that I’m looking for in a squeeze page.

You can also change around the photo, text, text size, colors, and so on and so forth.

More about using the ClickFunnels editor soon though.

Here are a few pro tips for creating your lead generation pages.

Here is what I recommend when it comes to creating any type of lead generation page:

• Keep it simple.
• Give away something free.
• Make sure that the important stuff is above the fold.

Above the fold means that your visitors don’t have to scroll down in order to take action.

It’s a fantastic way to increase your conversions.

So ClickFunnels comes with well over 100 templates just for creating lead generation pages.

So all you need to do is click on the funnel step and then you can choose your template.

You can do this with all of the steps in your funnel and it’s a very easy process.

Now we can take a look at using the ClickFunnels editor and what it has to offer for you.

Down below is a screenshot of a lead generation page that converts pretty well for me:

Remember when I said that I like to keep my lead generation pages really simple?

I truly meant it.

Inside the ClickFunnels editor, all of the important sections are going to be at the top.

I minimized the screenshot above, but it normally has names for the tabs which includes:

• Rows.
• Sections.
• Columns.
• Elements.
• As well as settings.

Plus, ClickFunnels finally added the option to be able to undo any previous action.

Note From James: I can’t tell you how beneficial it is to have an undo button!

ClickFunnels even comes with the ability to utilize pop-ups for your pages as well.

These are triggered pop-ups that show whenever your visitors take a specific action.

I highly recommend pop-ups as they are great for helping you generate more:

• Clicks.
• Leads.
• And most importantly sales.

What makes ClickFunnels great is the fact that it’s a true drag and drop editor.

Once you have your elements setup, you can move any aspect anywhere that you like.

I added another screenshot of many of the elements that you can add to your pages:

The Elements tabs will be a section that features many popular sections for your pages.

Aside from being able to add bullet lists with ClickFunnels, you can also utilize:

• Buttons and icons.
• FAQ sections and pricing tables.
• Videos, images, and audio players.
• Countdown timers (for increasing conversions).

And a whole lot more which you’ll see on the inside of the ClickFunnels platform editor.

Overall, ClickFunnels has created a wonderfully simple editor for creating your landing pages.

It’s these types of pages that are the glue that holds all of your sales funnels together.

However, ClickFunnels comes with a wide variety of funnel pages when it comes to:

Let’s take a look at a few of the powerful features that can help you make many more sales.

Starting with the ClickFunnels checkout pages.

ClickFunnels Checkout Pages

What’s great about ClickFunnels is that they come with their very own checkout pages.

This is beneficial for many reasons, and a few of them being:

• This will allow you to sell your products, offers, and services.
• You won’t have to get a third-party shopping cart software tool.

Keep in mind that other cart tools can cost just as much (or more) as ClickFunnels itself.

For example, SamCart starts at $49 per month and extends up to $199 per month.

Now what makes their shopping cart so great is that it uses the same great drag and drop builder.

This means that you won’t have to learn anything new in order to create your checkout pages.

If you’re in a hurry, you can always choose from over 40 order form templates to get you started.

There are also quite a few ways to make more money and increase your conversions as well.

ClickFunnels also comes along with an A B split testing feature.

Even better, the A B split testing feature allows you to split test every page that you create.

I bring this up now because the shopping cart is great for utilizing the split testing feature.

Pro Tip: A few other great spots to utilize their split testing feature include:

• Sales pages.
• Lead generation pages.

Keep in mind that you won’t need to purchase any other type of A B split testing software.

As you’ll start to notice, this is how you can save money by simply using ClickFunnels.

I’ll also be talking more about the split testing system later in this ClickFunnels review.

There’s also one more feature that comes with the shopping cart (and must be mentioned).

ClickFunnels Order Bump

This must be one of my favorite ClickFunnels features, and it’s also very easy to use.

If you have a look at the screenshot above, you can see exactly what I’m talking about.

The ClickFunnels order bump is located in the dotted-box that states:

Yes, I wil take it!

This is the opportunity to ask your customers if they want another product to purchase.

The best part is that they only have to check off a box in order for them to buy it.

This initially helped me get 33% more sales.

And that was after the first time I figured out this feature and gave it a shot.

It’s by far, one of the easiest ways to increase your sales and make more money.

Then there’s the savvy option, where you try out this ClickFunnels feature for yourself.

Speaking of increasing your sales and making more money, here’s another great tool.

ClickFunnels One Click Upsell And Downsell Pages

This was a very big reason why I first started using ClickFunnels many years ago.

As an online business owner, I really wanted to start accepting credit cards as well.

I only had PayPal available, and by being able to accept credit cards, I could:

• Increase my conversions.
• Utilize order bumps (previously mentioned).
• As well as utilize one-click upsell pages which you can see above.

Once again, these are funnel steps that you can create with their drag and drop editor.

Helpful Note: There are also plenty of templates for this type of landing page as well.

Anyway, this is a landing page that your customers get sent to after making a purchase.

It allows them to make an extra purchase by making one click of their mouse.

This is beneficial to you for many reasons including:

• Your customers don’t have to re-enter in all of their important details.
• It creates new ease of use in terms of making a purchase.

All in all, that allows you to increase your conversions and make more sales.

It’s the type of page that can make a very big impression, so don’t mess it up!

ClickFunnels Download And Thank You Pages

If you look above, you can see one of my ClickFunnels thank you/download pages in action.

Now, I completely understand that this won’t be the biggest part of your sales funnels.

However, they come along with a wide variety of different uses to help you out.

Consider these a few extra pro tips for you.

Here are some suggestions for the use of a thank you/download landing page:

• Create a welcome video to introduce yourself.
• Link to one of your separate webinar funnels (more on that soon).
• Give your customers/visitors access to what they requested (obviously).
• You can link to any type of affiliate program or related products and services.

For Example: The One Funnel Away Challenge is a great affiliate program to recommend.

Just make that it’s highly related to whatever else you’re talking about on the page.

You’ll find plenty of landing page templates for creating your thank you pages as well.

Let’s take a look at another feature that you can create using their drag and drop editor.

ClickFunnels Membership Areas

The picture above is an example of a membership site that I created with ClickFunnels.

Once again, the process makes it easy for getting your membership sites up and running:

• Picking from one of their membership page templates.
• Make some edits to the main look of your membership site.
• Utilize their page builder to add different sections and modules.

I do have to say that it’s pretty easy to create membership sites with ClickFunnels.

However, I would like it if they had a few more tools and perks when creating them.

I’ll talk more about that in the end.

Down below is a look at the page builder for creating your membership sections:

As you can see, your memberships are going to come along with:

• Sections.
• Within those sections are going to be your lessons.

What’s great about their memberships is that you can add as many sections as you like.

Plus, there is the ability to drip-feed your content over a specific amount of time.

At the end of the day, your products will be safe and behind a secure login area.

This allows stops people from randomly finding your products and distributing them.

I’ll add an article that I did that talks about the ClickFunnels membership feature.

Let’s continue on with this ClickFunnels review and talk about another powerful feature.

In fact, this feature comes with the ability to make high-ticket sales (which is great).

ClickFunnels Webinars

The fact that ClickFunnels comes with webinars is a very big benefit for you.

• Once again, you won’t need to get a third party webinar software.
• This feature allows you to capitalize on the ability to make high-ticket sales.

After all, webinars are one of the best ways to convert visitors into higher-ticket sales.

There’s also a common question when it comes to ClickFunnels webinars:

How many webinars can I run with ClickFunnels?

The answer is going to be as many as you want, but it depends on the plan that you get.

The ClickFunnels Etison Suite plan comes with an unlimited amount of both:

• Sales funnels.
• Landing pages.

You still get a good amount of sales funnels and pages with the basic plan too.

More about the pricing of ClickFunnels later though.

When it comes to running webinars with ClickFunnels, you can create both:

• Live webinars.
• Evergreen webinars.

YES: ClickFunnels evergreen webinars are also commonly referred to as auto webinars.

These are the type of presentations that can run during any day and at any specific time.

You also don’t need to be at the presentation for it to be running (which is great).

In case you’re on mobile and it’s harder to see, some of the sales funnel steps include:

• Registration page.
• Webinar countdown.
• Webinar broadcast room.

• Membership area (for customers to download their product).

Remember, all of these funnel steps can be quickly created with the landing page builder.

ClickFunnels Follow-up Funnels

This section is going to be slightly different in terms of this ClickFunnels review.

When I first got ClickFunnels many years ago, I had an autoresponder at the time.

Because of that, I’ve mostly used a third-party email marketing tool with ClickFunnels.

So I just wanted to create this section so you’re aware of what this feature does.

Follow-up Funnels is the email marketing feature for ClickFunnels.

It also allows you to do to send quite a wide variety of marketing messages such as:

• Text messages.
• Email messages.
• Push notifications.
• And even social media messages.

Just keep in mind that this feature only comes with the ClickFunnels Platinum plan.

The good news is that you can test it out when you create your user account:

So I just wanted to mention that ClickFunnels simply comes with email marketing.

Now let’s talk about a few more tools that you might not be aware of yet.

Even More Powerful ClickFunnels Features And Tools

ClickFunnels has much more than meets the eye (or even gets talked about).

Allow me to list a few more powerful features and tools that ClickFunnels offers.

ClickFunnels Share Funnels

So there’s always the option that you can create your sales funnels yourself.

Then there’s the option for getting your sales funnels completely done for you.

Enter the ClickFunnels share funnel feature.

This ClickFunnels feature is as simple as it sounds too:

• You get to import sales funnels to your ClickFunnels account from a separate user.
• Plus, all it takes is one click of your mouse too.

The screenshot above is an example of what it looks like when getting a share funnel.

After adding a sales funnel to your account, you can make any changes that you like:

• Use the landing page builder to make specific tweaks and change names.
• Use the funnel builder to segment your funnel steps in any order that you like.

In fact, ClickFunnels is the first funnel builder to pioneer this popular and helpful feature.

Many other funnel builder platforms ended up catching on and adding it as well.

ClickFunnels Templates

This is less of a feature and more of a tool when it comes to sales funnels with ClickFunnels.

So ClickFunnels certainly has quite a few templates to pick from for creating landing pages.

If you look at the screenshot, you’ll see that there are template sections for:

• Clickpops.
• Sales pages.
• Optin pages.
• Webinar pages.
• Membership pages.

There’s also a miscellaneous section that includes even more templates for your funnel steps.

A few of those ClickFunnels templates include.

• Photo galleries.
• Coming soon pages.
• eCommerce and physical product pages.
• Homepage, blog, about us, and contact us pages.

And many more templates that also go along with creating a website.

However, I do have to say that ClickFunnels is going to be best for creating:

• Sales funnels.
• Landing pages.

Creating a website with ClickFunnels is certainly not going to be the best use.

ClickFunnels also features well over 100 templates for all of your squeeze pages.

So it’s safe to say that they offer quite a few templates overall.

Let’s look at another little-known tool that also comes along with ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels AB Split Testing

You also get the ability to split test all of the steps within the funnels that you create.

It’s all done within the funnel builder dashboard page as you can see in the picture above.

As I previously mentioned, you can split test your:

• Sales pages.
• Checkout pages.
• Lead generation pages.
• And any page that you add to your sales funnels.

Split testing the steps within your funnels is very easy to do with Click Funnels.

For example, after you create your sales page, you would create another variation.

It’s easy to do as you can literally copy the sales page with a couple of clicks of your mouse.

Then you’ll just want to make one big change.

When it comes to any type of landing page, I highly recommend testing your headline.

This is for the fact that it’s going to be responsible for the most change on your page.

If you look at the example above, there are two different headlines that I used:

1. 3 steps to improve your business without investing in ads.
2. 3 steps to grow your business without investing in ads.

It doesn’t look like a big difference, but sometimes that’s all it takes to find a winner.

From there on out, you would want to send 50% of traffic to each landing page.

There’s not exactly a big learning curve when it comes to this specific feature.

In fact, ClickFunnels probably has the lowest learning curve as a funnel builder.

That’s always a good thing.

That’s still just scratching the surface when it comes to this funnel builder software.

After all, this funnel building software certainly comes with plenty of tools and features.

However, you will most likely only be able to utilize two of them (which I’ll explain shortly).

• The ClickFunnels Two Comma Club X is $2,497 per month.

Helpful Note: ClickFunnels Platinum used to be called the Etison Suite.

Remember, this is what used to be called the Etison Suite plan.

This plan is still going to be great for a wide variety of online marketers and individuals.

All in all, you get everything that ClickFunnels has to offer in terms of features and tools.

Here are some of the different perks that come along with the Platinum plan:

• 3 sub-users.
• Unlimited funnels.
• Unlimited landing pages.
• 9 domains and payment gateways.

The ClickFunnels Platinum plan also gives you access to their Followup Funnels feature.

This is pretty much their email marketing feature that comes along with only this plan.

So if you don’t want to use another third party autoresponder and you want every perk?

Then the ClickFunnels Platinum plan is going to be best for you.

ClickFunnels Review: Summary And Conclusion

I’ve been using ClickFunnels since 2015 which is a testament to how much I like them.

However, I will be the first to state that no sales funnel platform is perfect (that includes CF).

With that being said, let’s quickly take a look at the pros and cons of ClickFunnels.

This will help you get an even better idea of what this software has to offer for you.

ClickFunnels Complaints (There Aren’t Many)

• Customer service could be slightly quicker.
• Their membership feature needs a little improvement.

ClickFunnels is a software that probably gets more criticism than any other builder out there.

It’s pretty much expected when you achieve the amount of success that they’ve had.

For as long as I’ve used ClickFunnels, I have had very few complaints about this company.

Let’s talk about the first minor complaint that their support could be slightly quicker.

I say this because it used to be so much faster when I first started using them in 2015.

Then again, they didn’t exactly have around 150,000 customers at the time as well.

Also, their customer service could be slightly quicker, but it doesn’t mean they are super slow.

I usually get a response from customer service in less than twenty-four hours.

Lastly, creating membership sites and funnels with ClickFunnels is almost too basic.

They could certainly use more bells and whistles when it comes to membership perks.

So those are my two nit-picks when it comes to using sales funnels.

They are pretty minor when you look at the big picture of using this software.

Let’s talk about what I like now (which is quite a few things).

ClickFunnels Likes (There Are A Ton Of Them)

• Both simple and easy to use.
• You can run webinars with ClickFunnels.
• ClickFunnels is constantly improving their platform.
• They come with a free trial (that’s always important).
• Well over 100 landing page templates to choose from.
• Smooth drag-and-drop builder for creating your landing pages.
• ClickFunnels allows you to quickly create full-blown sales funnels.
• Plenty of fantastic features like one-click upsells and order bumps.
