Here’s how this email marketing software tool can really help grow your online business.
ConvertKit: Features, Advantages, And Cost
As it shows on their website in the screenshot that I added above, this tool is all about:
Audience building for creators.
In other words, this email platform allows you to share what you love in order to:
- Connect with your followers.
- And grow your business.
When it comes to ConvertKit vs ClickFunnels, I can simplify their message even more.
So this tool just about exclusively focuses on:
Email marketing for creators.
That tagline makes it much easier for you to see the differences between these tools:
- ConvertKit is for email marketing.
- ClickFunnels focuses on landing pages, sales funnels, and many other features.
In other words, CF is a much bigger all-in-one platform software compared to ConvertKit.
However, I’ll save more of the spoilers for when I get to the grand finale 🙂
Before we start, they also happen to come along with a completely free access plan.
I will put a link down below for you if you want to give them a quick college try:
So ClickFunnels has plenty of advantages over this specific software.
However, ConvertKit is going to be very dominant when it comes to a few features.
Let’s take a quick look at them now.

When it comes to ClickFunnels and ConvertKit for email marketing?
I’d have to say that ConverKit is going to have the upper hand.
It’s also beneficial that this tool also comes with the ability to tag your subscribers.
This allows you to send specific emails to certain subscribers based on their tags.
So for example, you can utilize tags to:
- Send emails to subscribers on your email list that haven’t clicked a link.
- Send more emails to subscribers on your email list who haven’t made a purchase yet.
This email platform also comes with visual automation funnels.
This is their way of utilizing email marketing in order to make even more sales.
Have a look at the screenshot down below to see a few visual automation funnels:
While there are only four templates shown above, there are plenty more to pick from.
These are all processes that go great with what ClickFunnels has to offer.
For example, with the ClickFunnels software platform you can:
- Host a webinar.

- Create an evergreen product.
More about that at the end of this ClickFunnels and ConvertKit post though.
All in all, they will have the upper hand when it just comes to email marketing.
There’s also another feature I wanted to mention that this marketing automation tool offers.
Let’s talk about it right now.
Landing Pages With ConvertKit
I wanted to make sure that I at least mentioned ConvertKit and their landing pages.
Simply for the fact that there’s a big overlap when it comes to ConvertKit vs ClickFunnels.
With that being said, ConvertKit will allow you to create:
- Landing pages.
You can create these utilize the page editor that they also provide for you.
In case you didn’t know, forms are small sections that you can embed in certain spots.
As you know, landing pages can capture email addressed to help build up your subscribers.
Your pages can also be hosted by ConvertKit or you can utilize them on WordPress.
Related: ClickFunnels WordPress comparison.
When it comes to ClickFunnels and ConvertKit templates, here is a quick comparison:
- ConvertKit has a total of 50 templates.
- ClickFunnels has over 100 templates just for lead generation pages.
Either way, you can’t really discredit ConvertKit here for even having pages for you.
You can see an example of a landing page template that I added down below:
The landing page above is going to be perfect for building your list of subscribers.
This is also why ConvertKit has these pages in the first.
They go hand in hand when it comes to email marketing and gaining subscribers.
So with that being said, here are my thoughts about ClickFunnels and ConvertKit.
- ConvertKit offers pages just for exclusive building your mailing list.

The screenshot above only shows one of the pricing plans that they offer.
However, there are three in total which I created a quick list for you down below:
- ConvertKit Free plan is completely free.
- ConvertKit Creator plan starts at $29 per month.

This tool also features quite a few helpful tools depending on the plan that you pick.
Here are a few of the important tools and perks that I highlighted:
- Unlimited traffic.
- Unlimited forms and pages.

Helpful Note: The more subscribers that you need, the more you’ll need to pay.
So the price is going to increase as you continue to grow your email marketing list.
