Penji Review: Graphic Design Demo, Discount, And Overview

Here’s one thing I want to first emphasize in this Penji review:

Penji allows you to utilize an unlimited amount of graphic design.

I don’t know about you, but that big perk all by itself is quite the big benefit.

I’m getting ahead of myself though.

Allow me to talk about and review this graphic design platform.

After all, it just might be the golden graphic design service that you’ve been looking for.

What Is Penji And How Does It Work?

what is penji

I wanted to start off this review with one of the most important questions first:

What exactly is Penji anyway and how does it work?

I’m sure that you understand how it can help you create unlimited graphic design.

But how exactly do you complete that process?

Here are the three steps that are outlined on the official Penji page:

  1. Create your graphic designs.
  2. Work on the drafts and revisions (usually between 1-2 days).
  3. Complete and download all of the necessary files once it’s complete.

And something I want to address a few more times in this overall review:

Penji allows you to create an unlimited amount of graphic designs.

You also don’t have to worry about:

  • Hiring graphic designers.
  • And you don’t have to worry about having annoying contracts.

In a nutshell, Penji takes care of all the hassle when it comes to getting graphic design.

I hope that explains the overall process when it comes to Penji.

Don’t worry though, as I’ll be diving deeper into the process so that you see how it works.

In the meantime, you can learn a little more about what Penji offers on their main website:

Extra Discount: You can also get 15% off your first month using my coupon: JAMESCANZ15

It’s embedded in the link above, so simply hit the APPLY button on the checkout page.

Now let’s get to the good stuff.

Penji Review Video Introduction: Features, Demo, And Cost

So it wouldn’t be a Penji review without doing a proper video walkthrough for you.

This will allow you to hear my talk about each step of the process, in a little more detail.

If that sounds good, simply click on the play button below to roll that beautiful Penji footage:

As mentioned in the video, you can also get a special discount using my link down below:

Now let’s move onto the written section of my Penji review.

Starting from absolute scratch.

Step 1) Creating A Graphic Design Project With Penji

unlimited design projects

So after signing up with Penji, you’ll eventually arrive at the project dashboard page (above).

I was given review access to Penji, which is why I blocked out some important information.

Helpful Note: That’s why it also doesn’t say James Canzanella at the top right.

If you look at the top of the screenshot, it’s easy to get familiar with.

You have separate sections for your:

  • Active projects.
  • On-hold projects.
  • Completed projects.
  • As well as drafts of projects.

So this is where you can get started with the first step: Creating your design with Penji.

All you need to do is click on the +New Project button at the top right of the page.

You’ll then get taken to a form where you can fill out the details of your new design:

new projects

So here are the simple steps that you’ll need to initially follow on this form:

  1. Enter the title of your project (mine will be a website logo).
  2. After typing in your title, you can choose from one of the categories.

Penji will also auto-populate related categories after typing in your specific title.

So for me personally, I would just click on the ‘Logos’ text and be ready to rock.

There are also a ton of categories to pick from.

This is good news because it really allows you to niche down on your type of design.

Here are just a few more examples of categories that you can pick from:

  • Brochures.
  • Digital ads.
  • Google ads.
  • Infographics.
  • Business cards.
  • Website design.
  • Magazine covers.
  • Social media posts.
  • YouTube thumbnails.
  • Email templates and graphics.
  • eBook covers and internal pages.

And still a whole lot more categories (those are just some of the big ones).

In the meantime, let’s focus on the next step where you describe what you’re looking for:

design requests

So it can often be a challenge to get your ideas onto paper about what you want to create.

I like to refer to this process as brain-dumping.

Luckily enough though, Penji gives you helpful tips based upon the category that you picked.

If you look at the screenshot above, what Penji recommends you to add here includes:

  • A very clear description of what you’d like (of course).
  • A few other examples of (your design) that you like.
  • Where this specific design is going.
  • Who your target audience is.
  • Color preferences.
  • Content/copy.

If you ask me, these tips are pretty beneficial when it comes to getting what you want.

Sometimes showing helpful examples is much easier than describing what you want.

Overall, the more instructions and examples that you have, the better design you’ll get.

Penji also has a section for royalty-free images if you need those as well.

The next (very easy) step is all about picking the level of customization for your design:

customized graphic designs

There are two options that you can choose from:

  1. Premium Licensed Graphics.
  2. 100% Custom Illustrations which are for the Team & Agency plans only.

Helpful Note: I’ll be talking about the pricing plans later on in this review.

Until then, please keep in mind that custom illustrations take a little longer to complete.

For this specific example, I am going to be selecting premium licensed graphics.

You then get to choose how you’d like your files delivered to you upon completion:

unlimited stock photography

This is usually something that you have to pay extra for when ordering designs elsewhere.

So while it seems pretty commonplace, it’s definitely a nice touch on Penji’s part.

Last but not least, you have the option for creating a folder for your associated brand.

In other words, if I plan on creating more designs for my website, I can create a folder for it.

It’s helpful for keeping your work organized.

Then you will just need to click on the Create Project button at the bottom of the page.

Now we can move onto the next step when it comes to getting your design created.

Step 2) Get Assigned To The Best Penji Graphic Designers

unlimited graphic design services

The screenshot is an example of what you’ll see after clicking the Create Project button.

As you can see above, this specific page:

  • Has all of the details that you added on the previous page.
  • Confirms that your project was successfully created and assigned.
  • There are also options such as editing it, putting it on hold, and a few more.

Please note that you can access this specific page any time from your main dashboard.

Not a whole lot happens in this step, but this page is where a lot of the magic will happen.

So with that being said, let’s move onto the next step which is similar to this one.

Step 3) Reviewing Your Penji Graphic Design

penji's graphic design services

All in all, Penji does make it easy for you to communicate and share your feedback.

Let’s refer to the screenshot that I added above for a few helpful notes:

  • The project was created on the 6th at 8:30 AM.
  • One of the graphic designers reached out to me on the 7th at 12:14 AM.
  • The graphic designer sent out some logo variants also on the 7th at 7:08 AM.

So it only took less than 24 hours to initially receive the design.

Not too shabby.

Allow me to add more of the screenshot so that you can see the conversion:

affordable graphic design service

Helpful Note: He’s calling me Jon because I’m still under the partner account.

The graphic designer stated that he created a few logo variants for the software company.

From there, you have the ability to:

  • Make revisions within the platform right here.
  • Download and see what the logo variants look like.

I had a funny moment where I downloaded the logos and made edits outside the platform.

I didn’t realize there was a revision button there (laughs at myself).

Allow me to show you what the process looks like along with a few of the designs:

fast turnaround from this particular designer

So your mouse changes and turns into a circle where you can click anywhere on the screen.

Upon doing so, it allows you to type in any type of comment where you would like revisions.

Lastly, you’ll be able to see the revisions that you made on the right side.

This is so much better than trying to edit things out of the platform.

After all, that’s what I did because I didn’t see the revision button at first.

Lastly, I responded back with a few edits that I wanted in my revision which includes:

  • Have the text show up as I added in a screenshot.
  • Add some color to the tree/branches that are shown in the screenshot above.

So that’s the process of getting your initial design and requesting revisions.

Don’t forget that you get an unlimited amount of revisions.

That’s also a big perk, as I’ve bought logos in the past where you’re stuck with what you get.

So let’s move to the fourth and final easy step of the process.

Step 4) Download Your Penji Graphic Design

quality work from unlimited designs

So after the weekend, I got my updated revision sent back to me as you can see above.

As it stated in the convo:

Hello there! Here’s the revised file. Kindly let me know if this works out for you, if you still wish to make some tweakes and changes, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!

And just like that, the logo had been completed based upon the revisions that I wanted.

I’ll add another screenshot of the new logo combined with the IMNights text:

penji designers created logo

Not too shabby, right?

At least that’s what I wanted when it comes to having more of a tropical feel.

If you look at the screenshot above, there are also various backgrounds for the logo as well.

They have white, black, and grey for background colors.

So the last step here is going to be clicking on the Download button to save your new design.

There is the option for:

  1. Download source files.
  2. Download all mockups.
  3. And you can always do both if you like.

So that’s what you can expect when it comes to the process of getting your designs created.

  • It’s step by step.
  • Simple to follow along.
  • And the designers were very kind when it comes to helping out.

You can see for yourself as well, along with a nice discount that I got for you:

So what can you expect when it comes to the Penji pricing plans?

Let’s take a look at them now.

Penji Pricing Plans And Discount: How Much Does It Cost?

no hidden costs with penji

So there are three Penji pricing plans that you can see in the screenshot I added above.

I’ll also add them below in case you’re on mobile and it’s harder to see:

  • Penji Pro is $399 per month (graphic design only).
  • Penji Team is $499 per month (graphic design, illustration, and UX/UI).
  • Penji Agency is $899 per month (previous perks plus team plan & double output).

Something to keep in mind is that you get unlimited design projects in any of the plans.

That might be the third or fourth time that I’ve stated that, but it’s really valuable.

Penji also doesn’t come with any type of contracts either.

You can cancel anytime and they offer a 15-day 100% money-back guarantee.

There are also a few ways to get a nice Penji discount too.

  1. You can pay quarterly and save 10%.
  2. You can choose to pay annually and save 15%.
  3. Or you can go through my link and save 15% on your first monthly payment.

So keep that in mind, my Penji promo code is only for paying monthly but it certainly helps:

After clicking the link, make sure that you click on the APPLY button.

I added a screenshot for you down below of what the page looks like:

penji promo code

I also added a box around the Apply button above so that you can see what I mean.

But that’s about simple as it is to get started with your Penji discount.

Ironically enough, just about everything about this tool is very simple.

And I really like that.

With that being said, let’s now move onto the grand finale of this Penji review.

Penji Review Conclusion: Is This Graphic Design Tool Worth It?

penji review

Penji review. Tired of overpaying for graphic design? Penji is the perfect platform for getting an unlimited, and wide-variety of graphic designs for your online business.

I do have to say that Penji does exactly what they say they will, and much more.

If you’re looking to get your graphic design outsourced or quickly completed?

This is certainly the platform to check out.

Aside from that, let’s now take a look at the pros and cons of Penji.

Penji Dislikes

  • I couldn’t seem to find many things that I disliked about Penji.

And that’s not something I like to say very often.

After all, I completely understand that no software or platform is going to be perfect.

However, I had absolutely no snags when it came to getting my design completed.

Some might also think that Penji is a little pricey, and I can certainly see that.

However:

  • You get an unlimited amount of graphic designs.
  • You also get an unlimited amount of revisions for a monthly price.

So if used efficiently, you can easily get plenty of value for the price that you pay.

With that being said, allow me to talk about everything that I enjoyed.

Penji Likes

  • Create an unlimited amount of designs.
  • You also get an unlimited amount of revisions.
  • Pretty quick turnaround time (less than 24 hours for me).
  • Step by step and easy to figure out (very low learning curve).
  • Simple setup for communicating and working on your drafts.
  • You can download your designs in a wide variety of file types.
  • Tons of categories that you can choose from for all of your designs.
  • Having an option for custom illustrations is great (I didn’t get to test it though).

So if you happened to be still wondering the question:

Is Penji worth it?

I would most certainly have to say yes, of course, it is.

Especially if you’ve got a lot of graphic design that you quickly need to be created.

I’ll add a link down below where you can get started with my special discount:

Helpful Note: The coupon code is already embedded in the link that I added above.

All you need to do is click on the APPLY button on the checkout page (shown below):

And that should just about do it.

I want to say thank you for taking the time to learn more about Penji and what it offers.

Their graphic design services is something that you’ll certainly want to check out.
