DropFunnels Review: Features Demo & Overview

This is my DropFunnels review and demo walk-through.

Here is what you’ll be seeing as you continue through my review:

  • What the DropFunnels software is and how it can help you.
  • A special inside look at some of the most beneficial features.
  • The two simple pricing plans as well as helping you make the right choice.

And last but not least, I’ll be answering the question:

Is DropFunnels worth it?

Be sure to keep reading on to get all of the answers that you’re looking for.

Let’s talk about making some funnels now, shall we?

DropFunnels Review Introduction: What Is DropFunnels Exactly?

what is dropfunnels

DropFunnels is a marketing funnel builder that will help you grow your online business.

This is mostly thanks to the help of landing pages as well as sales funnels.

It’s also been considered one of the only software built on WordPress that is:

  • Tech-free.
  • All-in-one.
  • Lightning-fast.
  • Drag-and-drop.
  • Massively-scalable.
  • Feature unlimited (more about that shortly).

And yes, what has been stated about this marketing system is true:

DropFunnels was built on the powerful website infrastructure: WordPress.

This certainly makes DropFunnels stand out from the rest of the competition.

It also allows you to get some of the SEO benefits (if that’s what you’re looking for).

Helpful Note: You won’t need to use any other type of plugins or themes.

You won’t even need to get hosting to use the DropFunnels software.

Let’s move onto the features and demo section now.

DropFunnels Features And Sales Funnel Demo

One thing is for sure, there’s a lot to like when it comes to the features of DropFunnels.

You get a lot of bang for your buck, especially considering their pricing (more on that soon).

Let’s start with one of the most powerful features, and give you a demo of what to expect.

Unlimited Landing Pages And Sales Funnels

Given the fact that DropFunnels is all about sales funnels, this feature had to go first.

DropFunnels gets the edge thanks to the ability to create an unlimited amount of both:

  • Landing pages (and).
  • Sales funnels.

This is really good news (and it gets better as we continue).

With other tools that create sales funnels, you often have to upgrade just to create more pages.

Not with DropFunnels though.

You’ll never be at a chokehold when it comes to the marketing funnels that you’d like to create.

Let’s take a look at the process of creating sales funnels, starting with the first two funnel steps:

  1. Choosing your design.
  2. Giving it a name (not shown in the picture below).

Be sure to take a look at the picture below to follow along with what they offer for funnels:

dropfunnels templates

In terms of templates, you can create any type of landing page for:

  • Blog.
  • Sales pages.
  • Coming soon.
  • Checkout pages.
  • Lead generation.
  • Video sales letters.
  • Webinar registration.
  • Thank you (download) pages.

And a couple more such as course index pages as well as lesson templates.

You can choose from templates, full funnels, or even import a CF funnel page.

If you happen to be using ClickFunnels, then importing a page is a pretty cool feature.

Down below is an example of a thank you page that imported in just a few seconds:

import clickfunnels funnel

I can confirm that this is 100% identical to what I was already using.

It’s a neat feature overall, but you won’t have any use for it if you’re not using CF already.

Let’s get back to creating actual landing pages and sales funnels from scratch.

So for this example, I chose the Squeeze Page One and gave it a name of:

IMNights DropFunnels example landing page.

Very creative, I know.

All sales funnels need funnel steps, and that’s what we will need to add in next (seen below):

steps for sales funnels

When creating sales funnels, DropFunnels refers to this process as the Funnel Flow.

You simply add in the specific funnel steps that you’d like to use for your sales funnels.

In the example above, I am going to be using only two steps for this example funnel:

  • The squeeze page.
  • Tha thank you page.

Let’s edit the squeeze page by clicking on the pencil icon (shown in the image above).

One thing is for sure: this is where the rubber meets the road.

Have a look down below at the landing page that I edited with their editor:

unlimited funnels for your online business

I didn’t change a whole lot, aside from the text and the color.

I have to say though, that their editor is different from many other editors I’ve used.

Most of the options aren’t readily available or seen on the screen.

Rather instead, here is what you will need to do:

  1. Click on the specific section that you’d like to edit.
  2. Make the changes.

Down below is a better example of what their editor looks like.

This gets shown any type you click on a specific section that you’d like to edit:

Aesthetics isn’t a strong part of this editor, as it’s pretty basic-looking.

  • Some will like this
  • Some will not like this.
  • And some won’t even care because they just want results.

This only becomes a problem when it detracts from being able to actually use the editor.

And while it doesn’t do that?

It could use a little work in terms of navigation and seamlessness.

Now, given the fact that this is a page for creating emails, they also have a few email integrations.

More on that later though.

Here is one more example of a DropFunnels template for a webinar registration page:

marketing system

This is a much easier template to edit.

If you were going to use this template, you would want to:

  • Edit the picture, name, text, and color.
  • Change the button text and connect it where it needs to go.

So that’s what you can expect when it comes to creating landing pages and sales funnels.

Don’t forget that you get unlimited funnels and landing pages.

There is also a good variety of templates that you can pick from for each type of landing page.

Let’s move onto one of the next unlimited features that come along with DropFunnels.

Unlimited Membership Sites And Courses

Once again, DropFunnels hammers on the ability to get an unlimited amount of specific features.

In this case, you get the ability to create an unlimited amount of both:

  • Courses (as well as).
  • Membership sites for your courses, products, offers, etc.

As I also stated in the previous DropFunnels section, this is great news.

This will allow you to combine the power of sales funnels and membership sites.

So what is it like when creating a membership site inside of DropFunnels?

Let’s take a look at this specific feature now.

Creating a membership site starts by completing a few easy steps:

  1. Naming your membership site.
  2. Creating a slug (or URL) for your membership site.
  3. Choosing the type of membership site (basic or advanced).

You then get taken to the section where you can add your membership modules.

  • You want to create your first module.
  • Then you can add multiple lessons inside that specific module.

Here is an example of a DropFunnels membership with a few lessons:

These membership sites are about as simple about simple as you can get.

  • This can be good.
  • This can also be bad if you’re looking for advanced features.

It’s simply adding in your modules and lessons, and then your video and text.

And by advanced features, I’m talking about things like:

  • Gamifying the process.
  • Specific support forums for your customers.
  • Or like being able to offer downsells when someone wants to cancel.

Note: There’s text underneath the video but it got cut off so that the picture wouldn’t be too big.

Let me show you a better example of a membership setup that you can create with DropFunnels:

I know that not everyone loves simple as much as I do.

So the picture above is a better example when you use a little more color with your memberships.

You can also combine these membership pages with the rest of your funnels.

Let’s take a look at another DropFunnels feature that also comes with an unlimited benefit.

Unlimited Blog Posts (With SEO Benefits)

If you have any type of blog, then you should be able to create an unlimited amount of posts.

So that’s a pretty standard feature when it comes to blogging.

I’ve talked about sales funnel software and blogging many times in the past.

Ultimately for my blog, I prefer the setup of:

  • Hosting.
  • WordPress website.

However, it is a nice touch that this sales funnel software was built on WordPress.

So if you were starting your online business from scratch?

Then it would certainly be a massive benefit, given the fact that you can:

  • Create an unlimited amount of landing pages and sales funnels.
  • You’d also be able to write and create an unlimited amount of blog posts.

This is also beneficial for you because:

  • You wouldn’t need to get hosting.
  • You also wouldn’t need to create a WordPress blog.

DropFunnels has all of that already covered for you, especially with the SEO benefits.

This also means that DropFunnels is super-beneficial for beginners.

This can be either a pro or a con depending on how you look at it (more on that later).

But what does the DropFunnels blog section look like?

Down below is a quick screenshot of what you can expect from their blog platform:

seo blog platform

As you might expect, it’s almost a spitting-image of using WordPress for your blog.

Helpful Reminder: DropFunnels is built on WordPress.

DropFunnels also includes all of the helpful blog sections for:

  • Your blog content.
  • The featured image of each blog post.
  • The categories and tags for each blog post.

You are also able to save your draft, preview your content, and publish your blog post.

As previously mentioned in this DropFunnels review, you get the WordPress SEO benefits as well.

So how can their blog feature help you rank in the search engines?

Down below is another screenshot of how you can edit your blog title and meta description:

search engines blog

This will help you stick out like a sore thumb in search engines like Google.

DropFunnels being hosted on WordPress is certainly a nice perk.

Helpful Note: Don’t worry if any of the above sounds a little too nerdy for you.

These are all features that you want to have if you plan on doing any type of blogging.

Let’s look at one more helpful DropFunnels feature that comes along with this sales funnel builder.

DropFunnels Built-In Link Tracker

dropfunnels link tracker

Here’s a feature that completely caught me off guard.

After all, how often do you see a sales funnel builder come along with a link-tracker?

There’s not a whole lot to say about this, as it’s very easy to set up and use.

As you can see from the DropFunnels link-tracker image above:

  • Add your source URL.
  • Add in your destination URL.
  • Lastly, choose the action and the redirection type (I kept them on default).

And just like that, you have your very own link that you can track through their interface.

DropFunnels will allow you to keep track of the number of hits that your link gets.

This is very similar to what the WordPress plugin Pretty Link does.

So it’s nice that it happens to come along with the sales funnel builder.

DropFunnels Integrations With Email Autoresponders

DropFunnels is a software that does not come with its own email autoresponder.

There are always mixed feelings about this.

  • You can always get a funnel software along with a separate email tool.
  • Then there’s the option of getting funnel software that comes with an email tool.

Either way, this shouldn’t change a whole lot.

In my opinion, I would rather attach an email marketing tool with my sales funnel software.

While it might cost you a little extra money to get a third-party email marketing tool?

It’s worth it because autoresponder software tools are overall better at email marketing.

That’s what they focus on one-hundred percent of the time.

With that being said, there are plenty of DropFunnels integrations with email tools.

Here is a quick list of only a few email marketing tools that DropFunnels integrates with:

  • ActiveCampaign.
  • Aweber.
  • Constant Contact.
  • ConvertKit.
  • GetResponse (one of my favorites).
  • Infusiosoft.
  • Mailchimp.
  • Ontraport.

So have no fear, you can always connect one of your email marketing tool with DropFunnels.

I imagine that they will be adding more email integrations in the future as well.

A Few More DropFunnels Features

dropfunnels checkout pages

This funnel builder certainly has a ton of features, and I wanted to mention some of them here.

  • 1 click upsells.
  • Checkout pages.
  • Custom domain mapping.
  • CRM with unlimited leads.
  • Add an unlimited amount of products.
  • Sell your products by utilizing both PayPal or Stripe.
  • Add posts, pages, and media just like when using WordPress.

As well as many more features which you can see on their homepage.

So now you have a good idea of what you’ll be getting with this landing page software.

Let’s look at the price of DropFunnels now.

How Much Is This Sales Funnel Builder?

49 per month

So how much is it going to cost to be able to create an unlimited amount of sales funnels?

DropFunnels currently comes with plans, and it’s a pretty easy choice to make.

Here is what DropFunnels offers:

  1. The Starter Plan is $49 per month (after the trial duration).
  2. The Pro Plan is $149 per month (after the trial duration).
  3. The Agency Plan is $297 per month (this plan was just recently added).

The first two DropFunnels plans offer the same beneficial features.

Here is the only difference when it comes to the two DropFunnels plans:

  • The Starter Plan comes with up to 10,000 visitors per month.
  • The Pro Plan comes with up to 250,000 visitors per month.

So the plan that you pick will ultimately depend on how much traffic you need.

It’s also helpful to know that each of the plans comes with a price-lock guarantee.

This means that you won’t have to pay more if they increase the prices in the future.

I’ll put a highly related post down below if you need more information about this topic.

Highly Related Post: DropFunnels pricing.

All in all, they have pretty good pricing when compared to other software tools.

You can compare them to other top sales funnel builders in the articles below.

So we’ve covered a lot of ground when it comes to this DropFunnels software:

  • What it is and how it can help you.
  • Some of the best features that DropFunnels offers.
  • As well as the two pricing plans that you can choose from.

Now I’ll be addressing one of the biggest questions when it comes to any type of online software.

Onto one more section of this DropFunnels overview.

DropFunnels Review Conclusion: Is It Worth It?

dropfunnels review

DropFunnels review summary. This sales funnel builder thrives with their cost-effect pricing, numerous unlimited features, as well as efficient loading speeds.

There’s certainly a lot to like about DropFunnels and what they have to offer.

Especially for the fact that you can put landing pages together quickly with their templates.

Note: The picture above is an example landing page that I put together using a template.

However, let’s talk about a few dislikes before we recap what’s to like about this software.

DropFunnels Dislikes

  • Expect a slight learning curve with DropFunnels.
  • Beginners will most likely get the most value from this software.
  • Getting access to the login details could have been more efficient.

It’s always a good sign when newer software comes with only a few dislikes.

After all, not receiving my login details could have been due to:

  • Some random hiccup.
  • Or maybe the fact that I’m using an old Yahoo inbox.

I imagine that this is something that doesn’t happen with every account (hopefully).

However, it took a couple of hours before I could start testing this funnel builder.

That’s why I prefer being able to log in right away without waiting for an email to come.

And when it comes to the other dislike, DropFunnels seems like it’s most efficient for:

  • Beginners or anywho who hasn’t made many sales with their online business.
  • As well as anywho who doesn’t have any type of hosting, website, or blog.

That means that you can use DropFunnels for blogging, landing pages, and sales funnels.

This isn’t to say that experienced marketers can’t use DropFunnels.

However, a beginner would be able to squeeze the most amount of value from this software.

I’ll always prefer using hosting alongside my website/blog.

So that’s my personal opinion.

Let’s now flip the script and take a look at what I enjoyed with DropFunnels.

DropFunnels Likes

  • Efficient loading speeds.
  • They come with a free trial.
  • It’s helpful that there is a built-in link tracker.
  • The cost won’t break the bank (and it has a price-lock guarantee).
  • They have almost everything you need (no email marketing feature).
  • DropFunnels now has both PayPal and Stripe integration (recently added).
  • Gotta love unlimited landing pages, sales funnels, memberships, and courses.

One of the biggest pros would be that there are quite a few unlimited features.

This is beneficial because you’d have to pay more if you used many other software.

Lastly, it’s helpful that DropFunnels comes along with a free trial for fourteen days.

It’s nice being able to test out funnel builders before actually spending any money.

But at the end of the day?

This DropFunnels software is a decent pick for creating, building, and launching funnels.

They are more valuable if you’re more towards the beginning stages of your business.

So that’s about it when it comes to this sales funnel builder named DropFunnels.

Thank you for taking the time to read my in-depth DropFunnels review.

Enjoy building your unlimited landing pages and sales funnels for your online business.
